Property features

Who we are

  1. Retired historian, with major activities reading and advising Congress and the New York Times what they/it should know about policy-options in the light of broad-reading in a variety of sources. My sons live not too far away, one in Maryland, the other in Greenwich Village. One returned from the Peace Corps with an Ecuadorian wife and two children, the youngest (Natasha Isabela) a baby now 6-weeks old, the eldest, Sebastian, seven years old and learning sign language. My other son is a reformed guitarist, who has recently stopped scanning Tibetan holy-books, and may return to touring this summer with a rock-band. I can be reached at my e-mail address (as above) or by telephone. Intermittent travelling is what I wish to do, with an artist retiree, who does create interesting things, not yet sought after by the major museums.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Quiet, tree-lined streets, not on major commuter ways into the city. Well-established in the city's northwest quarter, and generally safe---the modal crime is bike-stealing. Groceries and bus-lines within two blocks, banking a quarter-mile away. Recommended for those who make their own way in life, without separating themselves completely from what goes on around them. Washington is a distinct District, ten-miles on a side and facing two rivers---the Potomac and the Anacostia.
