Our home

Our rural town is really a bedroom community for commuters to Syracuse. Our 5 bedroom raised ranch is on the outskirts of a small college town, 30 miles from Syracuse, NY. We have 3 acres, gardens and a pond on our property. The house has a roomy living room, very large country kitchen, family room, 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have a nice deck with a hot tub; it overlooks fields and woods behind our house. (We often see deer and turkeys as we relax in the hot tub!) We also have a garage and a barn. We are very centrally located: 4 hours from NYC, 2 1/2 hours from Canada, 2 hours to the Adirondacks, one hour to the Finger Lakes, 3 hours to Saratoga and 3 hours to New England. We have Internet access. We would hope to leave our small bassett and 2 cats at home. Car available for use.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our rural town is the best of two worlds. It is located in central New York State, a beautifully hilly region with the lovely Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario, and the 1000 Islands nearby. We are also within a few hours drive to Niagara Fals, Toronto, Ottawa, New York City, Boston and Montreal.
Our neighborhood overlooks a town. Nearby, are places to swim, fish, ice skate (inside), play tennis, hike.
