Our home

Very roomy house in excellent condition. Master bedroom en-suite. Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a large kitchen with adjoining dining room and open plan living, plus 2 other reception rooms (music/hi-fi room pus study. 4Mb Wi-Fi covers the house. The rear decking overlooks a large fenced back yard with trampolne and swings/slides etc. and is very private with many trees, flowers and a garden. I love spending time in my home and having friends over for a BBQ and a beer, it is warm and inviting. The front drive can accomadate up to 4 cars.

Who we are

  1. Early middle age professional couple with 2 young kids. We are all very well travelled, but seem to keep going back to North America - I used to work around the globe as Engineering Management Consultant. Cars Halrey Davidson F150 and Land Rover Discovery, will be left locked in drive, but plenty of room for at least 2 other cars. It has a gargae with Harley Davidsons in, so will also be locked. Shed has 2 adult and 3 childrens bikes which can be used, by arrangement.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ideally located as a touring base, for all the North West of England easy access to the cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds in around an hour and placed in tourist attraction of Victorian elegance on the beach with 2nd longest promenade in UK. For teenagers, Southport has adventure park / fun fair within walking distance. National trains run until the early hours. See http://www.visitsouthport.com/. It is also situated only 1 mile from the Birkdale golf club where the 2008 open is being held - we do not plan to be in the house during this period. The train and bus sevices are all very good and is only an hour by car or direct train to Manchester International Airport - c'mon Manchester City Football (the only football club in Manchester)and Sale Sharks Rugby - I can get tickets for both on request - please do not insult me by asking for Manchester Unted ones.
