Our home

Large, comfortable home in quiet location of Royal Oak, MI.
The home has 4 bedrooms/2 baths, large kitchen, family, dining and living rooms, and a finished 3rd floor attic with a sleeping sofa. Private fenced back yard and big deck.

We also have a 2nd vacation home on the Lake Michigan shore (north of Muskegon). This home has 3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft. It has an open floor plan/cathedral ceiling in the combined living/dining/kitchen area. Also with 2 full baths, sunny back deck, large covered front porch, 2 stall garage, bicycles, 2 small sail boats.

We have a 2002 Chevrolet Venture 7 person van we can exchange.

    My name is Barbara and my husband is Joel. He works in public health for the State of Michigan and I stay at home and work and enjoy hobbies.

    We love music, reading, cultural arts, sailing, cycling, travel and visiting with family and friends.

Detroit is the auto capital of North America and headquarters for GM, Ford, and Daimler Chrysler. Detroit is famous for Motown jazz, hip hop, rap, pop music.

Michigan is known for beaches, water sports, shipwrecks, light houses, 3 season golf, outdoor sports like fishing, hunting, skiing.

The 2nd home is on a private dirt road in the woods behind the large dunes/beaches of Lake Michigan. It is a rural area of farmland, orchards, and small towns (5 miles distance). It is very good for cycling. Also, bird watching and nature related activities such as hiking, fishing, boating, camping.
