Our home

Our home is comfortable, clean and spacious. Its construction was completed in May 2005. It is a single-story, ranch-style home in a typical American suburb. It has four bedrooms, one queensize (double), one bunk bed (two singles), and two twinsize (single) beds. The family room has a sliding glass door which opens onto a patio (terrace). In the backyard (garden), is a built-in swimming pool, a patio with table and umbrella for six and a gas barbeque. We have all modern amenities including satellite TV with a DVR, and a DVD/CD player. We also have backpacking and camping gear that you can use if you want to explore some of our gorgeous outdoor environs.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are a very laid-back family, spending a lot of time in the great outdoors. Brad is a Soil Scientist with The United States Forest Service and loves hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, fishing, and spelunking. Teresa is a stay-at-home mom of four children, ages 10 - 20. She enjoys reading, history, and traveling. We will do our best to see that your time at our home will be relaxing and enjoyable for you. We have recently completed our first exchange.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Redding, located at the north end of the central valley, is a two hour drive north of Sacramento and three hours east of Eureka (near the Redwood Forest). Once in Redding, a one hour drive in any direction will land you in some of the most spectacular recreational playgrounds in Northern California. We are in a quiet neighborhood, near a walking park. Lassen Volcanic National Park is an hour away. Whiskeytown Lake is 25 mins. away. Shasta Lake is nearby. If you enjoy the outdoors, then you will love Redding!
