Our home

Modern with a spacious feel, our home is ideal for sophisticated living. It has an open floor plan and 50 feet of blacony with lovely plants and outdoor furniture. The balcony overlooks the city with views of Mt St Helens, Mt Adams and Mt Ranier. You can also get a peek at the Willamette river. There is a large master bedroom with a queen size bed. The second bedroom is smaller and used as a TV room with a fold out sleeper sofa (quite comfortable and easy to use) and storage for clothing.

The condo is easy to care for with simple but elegant decor.

There is a washer dryer down the hall.

Who we are

  1. We are single people who have been companions for many years. We are in our early sixties and are both ex-executives in Fortune 500 companies, now consultants in organization and leadership development.

We like hiking, eating well, movies and art. In addtion we are seekers, working on spiritual paths and looking for the sacred in all things.

We are flexible for travel dates. When a good opportunities arises we like to take advantage!

We have done home exchange before and very much enjoy "living as a local" in most places.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are located in King's Hill, a neighborhood with beautiful old homes and a few condo buildings, close to downtown. We are adjacent to Portland's fabulous Washingtoon Park with its International Rose Test Gardens, the World Forestry Center, tennis courts, miles of hiking trails, the Oregon Zoo, the Japanese Garders and the Children's Museum. We are walking distance to trendy NW Portland with its plethora of fine dining and shopping (no sales tax in Oregon).
We are an hour to Mt Hood, the Columbia Gorge and an hour and a half to Mt St Helens or the spectacular Oregon Coast. We are a 3 hour drive to Seattle.
The neighbors in the 34 unit building are experienced world travelers and exteremely friendly and helpful. There are German, Dutch and French speakers on my floor. There is an onsite manager who is very helpful.
