Your neighbourhood

We live in Wayne, Pennsylvania, named after "Mad" Anthony Wayne, who served under George Washington during the Revolutionary War. We live less than one mile from Valley Forge National Park, famous for Washington's encampment during the winter of 1777. This treasure of a park is 3400 acres, has 216 species of birds, 35 kinds of fish &30 mammals. Plenty of hiking paths here and lots of creeks & streams to explore. An abundance of deer live here as well, and you may see them eating from our apple or mulberry trees.
For retail at its finest, we live 2 miles from the King of Prussia Mall, the largest mall on the east coast, and 2nd largest in the country. Over 400 stores from super high-end Neiman-Marcus, Cartier, Tiffany, Versace & Hermes to the stores where the rest of us shop: Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom & Macy's. Also here are an enormous movie theatre and IMAX theatre.
We live 30 mins. from one of America's greatest historic cities: Philadelphia with its many fine historic sites. Lots of horse & buggy rides are available for a relaxing informative tour of the area. Many streets are as they were 250 yrs ago, with cobblestones still visible. Elfreth's Alley, the country's oldest continuous inhabited street is charming. World class restaurants abound, including the outrageously expensive "Le Bec Fin", one of the best in the country. World class museums as well. 2 hrs from NYC & 2 1/2 hrs to Washington. Close to train station.
