Our home

The character of our picturesque Edwardian brick built house is informal & cosy with touches of colour and light. We've lived there since 1982 as a family of four. The best feature our 28 m2 kitchen with an apex roof, leading into the garden with big french windows and plenty of light. Looking at the bottom of the garden you are faced with a 25m2 wooden Summerhouse, which we use for play, quiet retreats and study.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of 4: Rob is a psychotherapist (60 this year), Gaby a psychotherapist and acupuncturist (53). We both work from our clinic, which is in a second home that we own next door but one to our family home. Our two daughters are 13 and 16 years old and while they still want to go on holiday with their parents, we would like to show them other places that lie beyond England, Germany and Switzerland, where we have spent most of our holidays in the last few years. We love travelling, getting to know other cultures and cities as well as holidays off the beaten track. We would hope to get to know the people who we'd exchange with beforehand through e-mail and telephone contact, so both parties would know exactly what to expect.
