Our home

Our condo is in a high rise building on beautiful New Smyrna Beach. It is between the Ocean and the Intracoastal waterway at the end of a peninusla. In addition to overlooking the beach, we also overlook Smyrna Dunes Park which is at the end of the peninsula with picnic areas and a 1 1/2 mile boardwalk that circles the end of the peninsula. The apt. is on the second floor, which is at a 4th floor level due to a two level parking garage underneath. It is well furnished and equipped. Both bedrooms have king sized beds. The apt. has central air-conditioning. There is an elevator near our apt. entrance

Who we are

  1. We are both retired educators. My wife was a Professor of Nursing at a Connecticut University, and I was a public school teacher, and Real Estate Broker. We are fastidious about house-keeping and like to travel with another couple who share our same standards.
We enjoy geography, pubs, theater, and experiencing new places and things. Since we are retired, our dates can be flexible.

Our complex called The Inlet at Minorca is a high-end complex with excellent facilities and gated security. Daytona is 20 min. and Orlando's Disney attractions are 75 minutes by car. St. Augustine is about the same driving distance. There are several restaurants within two to three miles as well as a shopping center with a Publix super market, department store, banks, etc. The south end of New Smyrna Beach contains the entrance to the northern part of the Canaveral National Seashore, A U.S. National Park. It is a short drive south on A1A of about 10 miles.
