Our home

This beautiful historic registered 1902 circa home with period decor was once a bed and breakfast and holds all the charm of days gone by, but with all the modern conveniences. It is on Main Street in Montrose, Colorado, on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. The second floor has all four bedrooms, the master with private bath, fireplace, and washer dryer and South facing deck. This home boasts many lovely features including: stained glass windows, original wood stair case, wrap around porch, double ovens, double refrigerator, granite countertops, formal dining for 8, den, parlor and living room. A vacation of a lifetime!

Who we are

  1. I'm a real estate owner/broker and appraiser (my third career!) and Ken is an environmental and radon specialist. We moved to the area 10 years ago after our 13 years operating a yacht based charter business in Southeast Alaska. Our 16 year old son is our last child at home, so we'd be looking to exchange primarily during John's school breaks. Once you visit, you'll want to move here. It is surprising the number of folks who do just that, and then of course I can help you find just the right property too!
