Our home

My apartment is very warm, sunny and clean. It has a wall-sized window that brings in morning sunshine, so you can sit in my cozy living room and read in front of a beautiful, light-giving window. My apartment has beautiful hard-wood floors, and is surrounded by a lovely, safe street in a wonderful, tree-lined neighborhood. I have one bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchen that opens into the family room. I simply love living in this apartment, and my friends are always eager to come over.

Property features

Who we are

  1. I was an undergraduate and graduate student at Stanford University, and am now a high school English teacher in Redwood City. I am in my mid-twenties and live by myself in this safe, wonderful apartment. Because I have my summers free, I am looking to exchange homes with someone who would love to spend a summer in California!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

I am five short blocks away from adorable downtown Menlo Park, which is full of restaurants, cafes, stores and parks. Menlo Park has a weekly farmers market and a weekly summertime concert where the community gathers, and is a five minute drive from gorgeous Stanford University and lively downtown Palo Alto. We are located at the heart of Silicon Valley, and just five minutes from the home base for Facebook. It is just a forty five minute drive, or forty minute train ride, away from San Francisco (and my apartment is just blocks away from the train station) and provides easy access to the entire San Francisco bay area. You get to enjoy visiting San Francisco, but can escape from its famous foggy weather and come home to the sunshine and warmth Menlo Park is known for.
