Our home

Our family-friendly apartment is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in a prewar doorman building. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The masterbedroom has a kingsize bed and an adjecent bathroom. The kids bedroom has a treehouse-bed and lots of toys. Next to the living room, there's a separate fully equipped kitchen. The tv/sitting room can be converted into a third bedroom that sleeps another two persons.

The building is steps from the Riverside park with three fun playgrounds within a 10-minute walk. The park offers you beautiful Hudson river views.

All of New York's major attractions are in close proximity. There's a busstop in front of the building and a subway station within 5 minutes walk. You are also welcome to use our bikes, one including a child seat.

Who we are

  1. We are a Dutch couple with a 4-yo son, living and working in New York. We love living in the city and are happy to give others an opportunity to explore New York while we travel new destinations.

  2. Jakob works in finance and Debbie is in market research.

  3. We love to travel and explore new places as a family. Our dream holiday includes a mix of nature, culture and that local feel. We will take great care of your home and your neighbors. We expect our visitors to do likewise.

We are open to exchange suggestions and are specifically looking for:
    - Hawaï/Florida/South Africa (Christmas and NY 2019/20)
    - Colorado/California/Arizona (Spring 2020)
    - Netherlands (Summer 2020)

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson Riverside Park, the Upper West Side (UWS) is one of the greenest parts of Manhattan. The Upper West Side is known for popular attractions like the Natural History Museum and Lincoln Center for performing arts. But relaxed bistros, boutique-like shops and a lively bar scene defy expectations in this sparkling and cozy uptown neighborhood.

Both Central Park and Riverside Park are only a short walk away and offer you great ways to exercise, relax, do the people watching and have lots of fun playgrounds to enjoy.

We are happy to provide you with more customized information and details as we are getting to you know your preferences.
