Our home

Our 3 Bedroom-3 bath Condo in Mammoth Lakes, CA. has been recently remodeled. NON SMOKING, NO PETS. 50 feet from the bus stop for free town bus service to the ski lodge(s) 0.5 mile (2km), plus service all over town. 15 minute walk to/from "The Village", or take the bus. Plenty of restaurants and night-life in The Village and elsewhere in town.
We have underground parking garage, so no snow shoveling. Two spas in the complex (50 feet away, outside). Tennis Court. Suana and recreation room. Free Wi-Fi in the condo. TV in every bedroom, and one in the Living Room. The condo is completely furnished, including everything in the kitchen. We leave a few condiment type food in the condo for any guests to use.
Excellent skiing usually from November to May. Condo elevation is 2,500 meters (8,150 ft.). Top of Mountain is 11,053 ft. (3,175 meters). March is usually the most snow month. For long term lift tickets suggest visiting mammothmountain.com.
Check out the complex website at mammothcrestviewcondominiums.com.
In the summertime there is backpacking/hiking right out the from door. This part of the Sierra Nevada Mountains has excellent fishing in the spring/summer/fall. Or great place to just "veg out" and do nothing while breathing pure mountain air. Two families can live here comfortably. (It sleeps 11 if you want to use the pull out living room couch).
Come and have some fun.

Who we are

  1. Would like to exchange for condo in ski areas in Breckenridge or Vail Colorado, or Whistler B.C., Canada. My wife and I are retired, and usually travel as a couple, although we may travel with 3 small grandchildren. Occasionally we like to travel to ski areas with 1 or 2 other couples people for a week at a time.
We would also like to exchange in Carribean islands or Mexico Carribean. Also south Pacific islands, Austrailia or New Zealand.
Make us an offer, we are adventurous!
    Hablamous espanol.

Your neighbourhood

Our condominium complex(Crestview Condominiums) is in Mammoth Lakes, CA, a small mountain town of 8,000. Excellent skiing sometimes from November to May. Canyon Lodge lift is 1 km from the condo complex.
1.5 hours to Yosemite National Park. There is daily bus line to Yosemite in summertime. Airport (From LAX, SAN, SFO) is 8 miles (13 km) from the town. (Taxis and shuttles available).
Summertime there is excellent fishing in streams and lakes within 2 miles (4 km) to 60 miles (100km), April to November. Also during the summers there are public events every weekend: Jazz festivals, Blues festivals, Arts & Crafts, etc. Check them out on mammothmountain.com. Hiking trail is just across the road from the Condo on Lake Mary Road that leads to further trails into the mountains.
Major supermarket in center of town-2 miles.
Now have daily flights from Los Angeles and seasonal from San Diego and San Francisco.
Contrary to listing, nearest major airport is LAX, and driving from Los Angeles is 4 hours. Major airport in Reno, NV is closer, but driving is hazardous in the wintertime. The mileage from San Francisco is straight line, not driving around the mountains in the winter. Flying into Reno is a shorter distance alternative in Spring and Summer.
