Property features

Who we are

  1. Dean and I (Margaret) have been married for 36 years and have two adult children. We recently retired from our careers in education. We have had nine successful house exchanges (seven in Europe). We like to travel, read, play bridge, and enjoy movies, museums, theater and dinner with friends.
We will only exchange in large cities, not in rural/mountain locations. We are also interested in shorter exchanges during the year in the Pacific Northwest or on the East Coast. Due to arthritis, I need an elevator if there is more than one flight of stairs and a bathroom with a shower.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Upscale Westside of Los Angeles; quiet, tree-lined streets and friendly neighbors. Less than a 5 minute walk to local supermarket and bus stop, 10 minutes to local park with public tennis courts and golf course. Five minute drive to Beverly Hills or either of two large shopping malls with multiplex movie theaters; less than a 15 minute drive to the wide, sandy beaches of Santa Monica and Venice or to downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood or the Getty Museum. Less than a one hour drive to Disneyland or Universal Studios. Lots of trendy neighborhood restaurants and shops. We have a collection of books, maps and articles about things to do and see in the greater Los Angeles area.
