Our home

I am an artist and my home reflects that - it is playful, comfortable, and warm. There are many books, pillows, plants, and windows. Surrounded by trees it is private and being close to an enormous park often means magical visits from deer - sometimes a doe with her fawns. I love gardens so there are flowers everywhere. A rock fountain by the double French doors to the master bedroom, creates the most peaceful sound of water falling when the doors are open.(I leave them open as much as possible according to temperature, falling asleep to that sound is heavenly.) Hanging near the front patio is a hammock for those quiet afternoons or gazing at the stars.
I adore my little house and it seems to welcome all with a warm embrace.

Who we are

  1. I am a single woman and retired after having danced professionally around the world. I currently write, direct, and choreograph theatrical productions. I also teach ballet so that I can continue to pass on an art form I love. My passions are many - great literature, music, the arts in any form really. Gardens, wonder, trees, animals, learning, beauty in all of it's expressions.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

It is an interesting neighborhood, diverse, close to swope park. The house is set on 1.6 acres and is far back from the road and seperated from the other houses. All needed conveniences are close by though I typically don't spend much time in the neighborhood persay. Within 20 minutes are most of the major attractions of kansas city. A car is definately necessary. Great restaurants, great music, great art galleries are all a 15 minute drive.
