Our home

Our comfortable, roomy (for New York) ground floor apartment is conveniently located on a quiet historic street. Our building is classic Brooklyn red brick and well manicured. The living room windows open to a front yard anchored by an adolescent Japanese red maple. Inside is main living area with a convertible sleeper sofa and vintage chairs. Also included is a small office area with a desk and computer for your use. Most of our furniture is wooden, like our parquet floors. We have wireless internet and a nice television with lots of DVDs, but no cable. Our fully equipped kitchen is vintage 1950s, save for the space aged refrigerator and new sink. Our dining area has an expandable table that seats four. At night retire to a comfortable queen sized bed in our full sized bedroom with two closets.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Cobble Hill is a prestige tree-lined Brooklyn neighborhood 15 minutes from Soho and Greenwich Village via subway and 24hr yellow cab -- or ride our Vespa over the bridge. A 10 minute walk brings you to the Brooklyn Promenade with sweeping views of the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street and The Brooklyn Bridge. The real attraction, though, is the abundance of exceptional Michelin rated restaurants, boutiques found within a 5 minute walk on Smith and Court Streets, believed by many to be the trendiest new area in NYC for dining and shopping. There is a lovely park on the corner and several nearby 24hr groceries. Creative professionals, hipsters and local New York flavor abound. Here is more information:,_Brooklyn
