Our home

Our home is a wonderful escape. It is located next to a sand dune that offers a brief 15 minute walk to the lake shore, or you can drive to the beach on Lake Michigan in two minutes. There are two public beaches to choose from, Frankfort Beach or Elberta Beach. Our home is bright and sunny, featuring Internet (bring you own computer), and cable TV. Sunny kitchen, two baths, one full bath up and one half bath down.. Both bedrooms have queen beds; queen-sized sleeper sofa in living room. There are two sitting decks, one on the side facing the dune and one off kitchen in back of home. Our truck is available for rafting or transporting a canoe. We prefer to exchange during the months of June, July, Aug, Sept and October. United Airlines services Traverse City Airport, about 35 miles from Elberta, and there is a bus that runs to Elberta from Traverse City. We could pick you up and drop you off at either the Grand Rapids or Traverse City Airport. We live next door to our guest house offered for exchange, so can easily be non simultaneous. Car optional.
