Our home

My home is a 2700 sf condo in an old Moorish Castle fashioned after Alhambra situated in Garrison NY in the scenic Hudson Highlands. For an aerial view of the castle go to and for some history try The building is 35,000 sf built in the early 1900's. The unit has expansive views of the Hudson River, Constitution Marsh and the historic US Military Academy at West Point. The unit is fully furnished and has four tv's with cable service, two computers with internet access and stereos, dvd's and speakers in most rooms. It is five minutes from the train that goes to Manhattan and less than an hour by train or car. The setting is rural, the site is situated on 26 acres and includes walking access to Indian Brook and a beautiful waterfalls.

  1. I am a professional planner and travel with my partner, Alison, a private investigator and her son of 12 years, Joe. I also have three other adopted children who may travel with me from time to time, all teenagers.

    We enjoy golf, sight seeing, the beach, tennis, biking, fishing and shopping.

Dicks Castle is on a private road that services the Castle and only a few other homes. It is five minutes from the historic Village of Cold Spring, with a victorian downtown filled with antique shops and a public dock on the Hudson River. The hamlet of Garrison and train access to Manhattan is nearby as is substantial park lands including Fahnestock State Park the Appalacian Trail and Bear Mountain State Park.
