Our home

Our rural suburban home is modest in size but very comfortable and within walking distance of Glastonbury high street. Glastonbury is a small country town situated on the foothills of the famous Glastonbury Tor and our house has fantastic uninterrupted 30 mile views across the Somerset levels stretching to the Bristol Channel with Wales beyond.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are an international family. Diana, my wife, was born in Vancouver, and is now retired whilst her husband, Alan, will retire later this year. We have 4 grown up children and 3 grand-children who live in Japan, Holland and the UK. I currently work part-time as the Customer Service Coordinator with a distance learning provider but have worked in Banking and Publishing in earlier years. My wife was a State Registered Nurse and more recently Administrator of the Association of Professional Music Therapists.

We are looking for a long term exchange as we want to spend between 2-3 months in or close to Vancouver or possibly on Vancouver Island from early 2007. We have a small well behaved dog who will join us and we will accept one small pet here but no cats, please.
