Who we are

  1. We are Kathy and Arnie, Florida residents since 1994. Our children are grown and live 1000s of miles away and we keep active in volunteer work and tending our gardens. We are avid hikers, bicyclists, wanderers and explorers of out of the way places in out of the way cities. Did I say we love to travel? Our music tastes aim toward the classics and opera and we are frequent theater goers. We have exchanged homes very successfully 5 times in the past three years and we look forward to our next home exchange adventure.

Your neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is predominately single family homes but within walking distance to a fishing pier and restaurant. Many fine restaurants, shops, antique stores, are within a few minute's drive. At sunset the Gulf of Mexico becomes a fantastic display that will forever remain one of your fondest memories. Longboat Key, with dozens of restaurant opportunities is connected to our Island by a drawbridge, and just a short drive farther is St. Armand's Circle with more restaurants and fabulous shopping. Sarasota and its cultural activities are 30 minutes away. The Ringling Museum, which houses one of the world's foremost baroque art collections, is minutes across the bay from Anna Maria. Orlando and all the theme parks are about 90 minutes away via expressways.
