Our home is a small, comfortable bungalow style house in the heart of historic Boulder, CO. It has a family/dining room that opens from the kitchen. There is a master bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs. One of these bedrooms is set up as an office, but the other serves as a guest room. The master bedroom has a deck that looks out at the Mountains. The kitchen has an antique gas oven and stove that is fully functional along with a microwave. There is a lovely patio with a bar-b-que and a table for two. We have a carriage house in the back with a well-equiped office and TV room over a garage. We can generally offer a car as part of the exchange, and we also have bicycles available.
We are also interested in extended exchanges also for longer periods of time. We are retired and have a great deal of flexibility. We have done a few of successful exchanges and are excited to do more.

My boyfriend, Byron, and I, Candy, are retired and love to travel so we can be fairly flexible. We have an additional home in the mountains in Colorado so it is easy for us to enter into non-simultaneous exchanges. We have had several successful exchanges and are always looking for more. We find we like to travel using an exchange so that we can get to know the neighborhoods that we visit. It feels like a much more personal experience than staying in a hotel.
Our home is within walking distance of the center of Boulder, Colorado where there are many restaurants and shops. It is also two blocks from hiking trails and Mountain biking trails. Within an hour you can be in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains where there are many more hiking and biking trails. Major ski areas such as Vail, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone are approximately an two hours away. Denver, Co is 40 minutes away and offers many museums and cultural activities also. Boulder, CO is the home of the University of Colorado which hosts a number of intellectual and cultural events; including a Shakespeare Festival in the Summer and a World Affairs Conference in April. Boulder is also known for it's Farmers Market in the summer and many breweries with local beers. There are many natural and organic food markets, and award winning chefs.
