Our home

We have a traditional Cape Code style home w/ 3 bedrooms. Upstairs is one full bathroom, a large sunny master bedroom w/ king size bed, and second bedroom with bunk beds. In the lower level is a teenager’s mecca w/ twin bed, queen size pullout sofa, TV w/ game cube and full size bath including Jacuzzi.

The first floor has a large spacious fireplaced living room w/ TV, dining room and well equipped kitchen w/ attached sun porch eating area.

We have 2 very well behaved cats that could be in or out (especially in the summer) but would like to be fed (could find someone else to do it).

Who we are

  1. The particular exchange that we are looking for at this time (10 days between July 9th-22nd) is for two adult Girl Scout Leaders and their four 14 year old girl scouts who have worked very hard since the 2nd grade and earned this trip this summer!

We have references as we rented a ski condo in August 2 years ago at Mt Tremblanc, Canada for a week with 8 people. Our husbands are willing to share one home for the time period to make this exchange possible and would be available nearby for help or questions.

The girls have earned their Silver Award and are very responsible girls. Our motto is to leave a place cleaner than we found it!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home in Weston is a 3 minute walk to the Kendall Green purple commuter rail (30 minute ride) or a 20 minute car ride into downtown Boston which offers art, history, public gardens, water views, music, dance, theatre, restaurants and everything a major city could ask for in a beautiful setting!

It's nice to leave the hectic city at the end of the day though for a quiet neighborhood w/ lots of great restaurants nearby (Waltham & Wayland) for dining out, or as we often do - take out and eat at home! There is a large outdoor town swimming pool 5 minutes away for a break for the kids. The Town Center is 1 mile up the road with shopping and dining.

Ideally located as a touring base to all of New England, we are 10 minutes to historic Lexington and Concord, 90 minutes to Cape Cods famous beaches and day trips away to CT, NH, Maine & Vermont.
