Our home

We have a lovely colonial-style home with 2 sunny, full floors and a finished basement: 3 bedrooms, a full bath and an office upstairs and a guest bedroom with fireplace and recreation room in the basement. The main floor has a bright familyroom that opens onto a deck, an eat-in kitchen, a formal diningroom, and a large livingroom with fireplace and piano. We have an attached 2 car garage and a large corner lot with lots of room to play on the grassy lawn. The yard has many mature trees, with a swath of woodlands behind the yard.

Who we are

  1. We are Kathy and Rob, with our daughter and two sons in elementary school. We haven't done a house exchange before, but would like the chance to experience another locale as a member of a community, rather than as isolated tourists in a hotel. We are very easygoing, adventurous, and would love to find a family with which to swap. We are interested in any locale in Europe.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a very friendly neighborhood, with children and adults often playing, riding bikes, or walking around - and the occational horses from the riding stable nearby. We can walk into the village center, to nearby playgrounds, and at the edge of our neighboorhood is a wonderful gourmet farm stand. There are many town conservation areas for pretty woodland walks with a historic flavor - our town is about 24 miles NW of Boston center, right in the middle of the historic Colonial and Revolutionary period areas. We have easy access to Boston by car or by commuter rail, so all of Boston's enticements are within easy reach.
