Who we are

  1. My husband Basil & I have 5 children, 2 aged 29 & 27 & 3 others married with their own children. On occasion we will travel with some of them. We are both business professionals & enjoy traveling when the opportunity arises, especially off season, even though our own townhome is available most times of the year. We have done one successful home exchange & are keen to continue.

Your neighbourhood

Situated 7 minutes from downtown Aspen, the airport (no flyover), and Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Aspen Mountain ski areas. There is parking and a garage available. Aspen has great bus service to town and the ski areas with stops located close by. A car is optional.

The town is picturesque with fabulous restaurants of all cuisines, lively nightclubs and lounges, shopping including all major designers from Gucci to Ralph Lauren, amazing jewelry, the best apres ski wear. The town is full of year-round culture ranging from concerts, art galleries, shows, speakers, presentations, and nature walks. There are all types of festivals, including the Jazz Aspen Fest, Summer Classical Music Fest, Food and Wine, Rodeos (in summer) and Comedy.

The outdoor activites are nearly limitless including hiking, camping, horse riding, sleigh rides, ballooning, hang-gliding, fly fishing, canoeing, rafting, golfing, & of course the fantastic skiing as well as cross-country skiing & snow mobiling. There are lessons and rentals easily available at all four mountains for all levels for almost anything you want to try.

The skiing is probably the best in the world. The snow is light, dry, and groomed and the runs range from green to double blacks for the experienced.
