We have a warm and comfortable family home, recently renovated, in a very family-friendly part of Windsor opposite a communal green. The house is semi-detached, but on account of its corner position, feels like a detached house. We have a huge and private lawned garden with a children's playhouse, a swing, a trampoline and a large patio with a table and chairs. There is also a barbecue available for your use. The house has a long driveway and ample parking for at least three cars. Downstairs there is an entrance hall with a cloak cupboard, a large and modern kitchen-diner, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a living room which looks out to the garden and a double bedroom. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a bathroom with a bath/shower and a separate toilet.
My wife and I are both teachers and therefore like to make the most of the long holidays we have. We have two boys aged 18 and 8 and a girl aged 3. We speak English and Spanish at home and we are also able to speak French. We plan to exchange our house regularly throughout the year and we have already experienced some wonderful home exchanges and we look forward to doing many more.
We live in a quiet road in a very safe and friendly area, just 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Windsor. We are on the doorstep of Windsor Great Park (across the road), a beautiful open space to walk, cycle or just sit and enjoy the countryside. Windsor is excellently situated for Heathrow airport (20 minutes by car), London (a 40 minutes direct train from Windsor & Eton Riverside to London Waterloo, or 25 minutes driving on the M4). There are numerous things to see and do in Windsor itself - Windsor Castle, Legoland, Eton College etc. There are also wonderful places to see within a short distance - Oxford, Henley, Marlow, Winchester and Cambridge.
