Our home

Three bedroom family home in a very popular area of southwest London, Wimbledon Park. There are two double bedrooms and one single room, so enough for five people in all. There is a small back garden with a decked area. Our home has all the mod cons you would expect. In brief, a neat and tidy house that would make a comfortable base for those visiting London.

Who we are

  1. We are Rachel and Peter and have a daughter who is two. We have lived in the Wimbledon Park area for ten years and are very settled here. We are looking to have a family holiday for two weeks over Christmas and are interested to try a home exchange; it is not something we have done before, but think it offers a unique holiday opportunity to both parties involved.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Wimbledon Park is located in southwest London (Zone 3 of the tube and rail network). The immediate area has a range of shops and places to eat and drink. There is also a weekly neighbourhood Farmers' Market. There are two popular parks in the area, one on the same road as our home and the other (Wimbledon Park) a ten minute walk away and which has a boating lake, tennis courts and golf course. The All England Lawn Tennis Club (home of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship is located there too. Wimbledon Park station is a stop on the Tube line - a five minute walk from our home - and takes you to all the attractions of central London in 20-30 minutes, including the museums of South Kensington and the West End. Earlsfield train station is a ten minute walk in the other direction and takes you into central London in less than ten minutes and out to places such as Hampton Court and Windsor in the other direction.
