Our home

Our house is one block from the sea at Tankerton Slopes, and within walking distance to the shops and harbour at Whitstable.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with king size 6ft wide beds, both of which can be split into two singles. We have two bathrooms with showers, one of which is en-suite.
There is a 3rd bedroom which is used as a study.

Downstairs we have a good sized kitchen dining room, a lounge with a log burning fire, and hallway with cloakroom.

During the Christmas period, Whitstable and Canterbury (6 miles away) offer plenty of seasonal activities with traditional atmosphere.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Kent has many interesting places to visit including castles, country houses and gardens, seaside towns, and historical sites.

It is very easy to go for a day return to France, via the channel ferry, or channel tunnel, just to have lunch.
The channel crossing is 40 minutes drive away, and the crossing by car-train takes just half an hour.

The train service to London from Whitstable station is every half hour and the journey takes 1.5hours into London St Pancras station, or London Victoria.

Whitstable town has many good restaurants, and there are many more village pubs with good food nearby.

There are plenty of outdoor activities associated with the seaside, and walking trails all around the Kent coast.
