Who we are

  1. My husband is a lecturer of horticulture and I work for the NHS.

We have two gorgeous boys aged 11 and 13 years who are obsessed with Dr Who!

Our hobbies are gardening, salsa dancing, reading, music, both playing and listening. We have a piano and guitar for those who wish to partake! I am also in a Samba Band, check out SambaPeloMar on Google!

We have done a 5 successful house exchanges and we are still in contact with the families if you need references.

We adore living in Whitstable and would love you to experience a piece of old Kentish England. Kent is a beautiful county, green, luxious with many surrounding farms where you buy the local produce.

We are interested in exchanging within England for weekend breaks or holidays during school breaks.

We are sensible, clean and trustworthy. I am proud to say that our children are adorable and very well behaved. (most of the time!)

We do own a beautiful cockapoo but if you would rather not look after him that is not a problem as we have many friends that will oblige.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Whitstable town is a very quaint Victorian seaside resort which is full of history and wonderful arty shops due to the amount of artists that reside in the town. You must walk through harbour street as it has retained that wonderful Victorian charm. Lots of old English public houses famous for their real ale!

Quite a few of the restaurants in town are famous for their quality of food and have been recommended by many famous chefs, Jamie Oliver being one. For example Wheelers Seafood restaurant!

From our house you could take a stroll to the harbour to buy freshly caught fish and oysters or have lunch at the famous Crab and Winkle restuarant.

We are close to all amenities, the town, the beach, shopping, supermarkets and the railway station.

Canterbury is only a 15 minute drive away where you can visit the cathedral and all the other tourist sights. Have you heard of the Canterbury tales?

Take a 20 minute drive to a ferry port and visit France for the day!

In addition there are a varity of national trust and English Heritage sites to visit. Lots to see and do in Whitstable and the surrounding areas.
