Our home

Our home was built in 1926 and has been recently renovated and extended. Downstairs we have the family room and kitchen, a separate sitting room, a study, utility room and toilet/shower.
The majority of the house is carpet free, the flooring being oak boards. On the first floor there is a bathroom and 4 bedrooms. On the second floor we have a further bedroom suite with bathroom and dressing room.
Our house is on a very pretty private road and there is no traffic.
We have 2 cats, and so we need animal friendly people to come and look after them (ie put their food out in the morning and evening, and if they are feeling friendly to give them a stroke!).

Property features

Who we are

  1. Tony is a lawyer and Anne is doctor, both work full time.
We have 2 daughters, Laura is 13 and Emma is 11.
Happy for you to use one of our cars (assuming you are over 25 and have no motoring convictions!)
We are looking to exchange for a house suitable for a summer holiday, near to a beach or lake, something relaxing.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Weybridge is a great little town 25 mins from central London on the train (our house is 5 minutes from the railway station). Hampton Court and Windsor Castle are approx 20 minutes away by car as is Putney, famous for its bars and the Oxford vs Cambridge boat race.
The river Thames runs through Weybridge and there are many pleasant pubs along the river bank within easy distance (cycling along by the river is the best way to reach them, and we have 4 bikes in the garage).
London is fantastic and within 30 minutes of leaving Weybridge (into London Waterloo) you can be walking along the iconic South Bank of the Thames in London. Sundays are our favourite day with book stalls, mime artists and musicians all trying to grab your attention. From Waterloo station it is just 10 minutes walk to Trafalgar Sq, Nelson's Column,Covent Garden, London's West End theatre district and Downing Street.
Weybridge is 20 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from Gatwick.
