Our home

This is our stunning home that we converted from a series of hop kilns. It is right in the heart of the South Downs National Park and sits on top of a hill looking out over fields and hills.

The house was really carefully thought out, most of the rooms have high ceilings, making large interesting spaces with lots of old beams. There are two open fires, tons of light and a fabulous kitchen which is amazing for people who like to cook.

The lounge is the key space with a beautiful double height ceiling and a lighted terrace just outside which is great for barbecues or sitting and watching the setting sun.

This is a perfect place to come and enjoy the English countryside at its best in one of the coolest houses in the National Park.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of five, with three children, all of whom play music and are at school nearby.

We like to travel together and last year spent a month in Burma. This Summer we are intending to head towards Croatia and explore some of the coastline there.

We sail and waterski and in the winters love to snow ski. At the moment our favourite spot is Tignes but are thinking of going somewhere new next year.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house and garden have direct access to the Downs and there are pubs within walking distance in every direction. There is a country park just up the road and there horse riding trails, amazing mountain bike tracks and a short drive away the famous Goodwood race course and racing track.

The lovely market town of Petersfield is just two miles away with a Michelin star restaurant and a lively twice weekly market.
