Our home

Dear HomeForExchange family,
We can offer an ideal holiday home for your family with a light functional house with generous secure garden for kids in all ages and socializing. Well located if you want to combine London visits with local day outings to nearby attractions such as Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace, Windsor, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Brooklands Museum, Mercedes World, not to forget the sandy beaches down in West-Wittering, a bit over 1 hour's drive if the weather looks promising. During the summer, the bunnies lead their independent lives in the garden. The cat comes and goes through cat flap, just need water and dry food in bowl, however we can easily outsource this chore to neighbor. Any further info, please ask.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Jeanette (originally from Stockholm, Sweden) and Wayde London, with 2 kids, 13 and 16. One is passionate about animals and the other about BMX biking, either doing it or watching it on Youtube!. I work for an Corporate interior design company in London and Wayde's back ground is interior design and he runs his business from home. We have travelled a lot before the kids and not so much as a family apart from Sweden trips but feel we need to make the effort before we are no longer cool to hang out with. We love cooking and entertaining, meeting new people, interior design & architecture.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Typical Surrey suburb, very leafy and hence the bird life (large parquet colony, squirrels, foxes are frequent. 20-30 pleasant walk to the river Thames with numerous pubs, where the new leisure centre is located. Walton-Thames developed the town centre with a nice mall, coffee shops and restaurants. The nearest train station is 10 min easy walk run by Southwesttrains. Easy access by train to the coast or London. We are next door to a small church so church belles are expected on Sunday morning.
