We live in 4 bedroom stone house in a quiet lane 5 minutes walk from the centre of the very pretty village of Warborough, often used to film Midsomer Murders.
There are 3 double bedrooms, one single bedroom, bathroom, shower room and a separate loo downstairs. There is plenty of parking and a garden of approx 1/2 acre
The kitchen is spacious, has a large kitchen table and a couple of sofas and is kept warm by the gas AGA, which is used for cooking. There is an open fire in the hall and sitting room.
We are a couple in late 50's, still working but with flexibility for short breaks in different destinations!
We love our garden and would welcome someone willing to mow the grass during the summer months!
We may have one or more of our adult children with us as extra visitors!
Warborough is a very picturesque village with a beautiful village green , cricket pitch and village pub. The River Thames is 10 minutes walk away, with boat hire from a nearby village. We are lucky to have a village shop and a post office. There is a bus service from the end of the village to Oxford, Wallingford or Henley on Thames and the nearest train station is only 15 minutes drive away, with very good connections to London Paddington. It is easy to reach London, Bath, Stratford and the Cotswolds as we are near the M40 and can easily reach M4 and M25. There are footpath walks from the house or up in the nearby Chiltern Hills.
