Our home

We have recently extended our property. Downstairs we have a kitchen dinner with bifold doors to the garden, a separate lounge and bathroom. Upstairs there is a double master bedroom and 2 children's room with single beds. There is one boys bedroom and one girls bedroom- both beds have pull out 'proper' beds underneath.

There is also a further sofa bed available in the lounge should you require it.

The garden has a comfortable table and chairs and Weber charcoal BBQ. There is a sandpit and water tray for children.

Who we are

  1. I work as a teacher in Henley and my husband is a geologist. We have twins aged 7 and now they are old enough we would like to take them travelling to experience different cultures. We would ensure they respected other peoples houses and property.

Your neighbourhood

We live in a very quiet lane only a 5 minute walk from the historic market town of Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
With its vibrant community life, and intriguing history, the market town of Wallingford in Oxfordshire has much to offer residents and visitors alike.

The first settlers in Wallingford were drawn here by the River Thames - and the river is still one of Wallingford's great attractions. There's plenty more besides to enjoy - Wallingford boasts an appealing town centre with a great selection of independent shops, regular local markets and a range of restaurants, cafes and hostelries. There are also all kinds of fascinating corners of Wallingford to explore with beautiful villages and South Oxfordshire countryside all around. Did you know that Midsomer Murders is filmed in the area and that Causton is the fictional location of Wallingford? Or that Agatha Christie lived in Wallingford and wrote her characters and stories around local landmarks. (Her remains are buried in Cholsey)

Wallingford is just 20 minutes from centre of Oxford, Henley or Reading. London can reached in about an hour by train.
