Two lounges; one at the front of the house and one at the rear with French windows which lead directly to the patio and garden. There are TVs in both lounges, one with Blu-ray and DVD player and lots of books. The rear lounge also has a double sofa bed if you need extra beds.

Sunny south facing garden with patio area, dining and garden furniture and use of barbecue and football goals

We have a huge range of games including a Wii, X Box set up in the lounges plus a massive range of board games and toys such as Lego. In the garage there are scooters and other outdoor toys and equipment.

Who we are

  1. *Looking for an exchange for Summer 2020 to Europe or further afield - make us an offer!*

We are a family of four: Jeanette, Richard and twin boys Ivan and Oscar aged 16.

We have now completed four house exchanges through the site which have all been fantastic - everything we hoped and the families enjoyed our house and location in the UK - visited Chester, Liverpool, Wales went to see Manchester United! We have two friendly cats but they go and stay at a hotel when you are here - we are happy to look after yours however.

We love travelling to new places and discovering new regions and we like places that are a little off the beaten track and living like the locals.

We love games, books, films, eating out, the outdoors, the beach and spending time as a family.

  2. I work for the NHS in public relations and Richard is a business manager for Fair Tax.

We live in Urmston which is only 4 miles from Manchester city centre - buses and the local train station are only a few minutes walk away.

There is lots to do and see in Manchester with plentiful shops, cafes and restaurants and around such as:

Urmston where our house is situated is a small town with bars, shops and restaurants and supermarket, library etc and plenty of parks and walks just a minute behind the house which follow the River Mersey. Other lovely nearby areas to visit include Didsbury and Altrincham all easily reached.

We also live a 20 minute walk (or short bus/car ride) from the Trafford Centre - a huge shopping mall and around there is a indoor ski centre, trampoline park, golf driving range and the biggest children;s indoor play area with slides in Europe! A local swimming pool is a short walk away and there is a fantastic aquatic centre in Manchester nearby.
