Our home

We have a traditional 2 double bedroomed stone cottage in the delightful market town of Ulverston ( in the Southern Lake District in Cumbria, Northern England. Ulverston is a lovely small town with a square and lovely shops and cafes and pubs with good food..there are beautiful local walks and wonderful refreshing beach walks and a 20 min drive from the shores of Lake Windermere. From there, easy access to the heart of the Lake District and all that it offers. Ranging from tranquil scenic walks to serious fell walking, action packed days or cream teas ,water-sports and multi activity sports. Ulverston has a traditional weekly market and usually has an event on.

We are a 5 min walk from the town centre, yet in a quiet street. Our stone house has a small living room with a log burning stove for cosy nights in. Full central heating, Sky TV, Broadband. There is a separate dining room leading through to modern kitchen and utility room. 1st floor has the main double bedroom, fitted bathroom with a shower over the bath. Landing with further stairs leading to a double bedroom on top floor. The kitchen is fully-fitted and the utility has all amenities. A safe enclosed garden at the back and patio area, and barbecue. The garden overlooks a field with plenty of chickens and geese.

Lots to do in town and surrounding areas. Nice restaurants and cafes and shops.
