Our home

Very comfortable characterful home with a great kitchen, separate laundry cupboard and a ground floor computer nook. The maisonette is on 3 levels; it is quaint and old with large high ceiling rooms, staircases and sloping everything, so it wouldn't suit you if you are a wheelchair user or have a lot of trouble with using stairs, however there are - stylish - grab-rails in places where I think they could be needed and although I myself am mobility challenged I have no difficulty moving around here.

There is door intercom/entry system, separate mailbox at a convenient height and there is also a keysafe.
I can arrange grocery delivery for you if wanted and a cleaner.

Your neighbourhood

Famous English seaside holiday resort, known for Agatha Christie's Greenway and Grand Hotel. Cream Teas, Roly's fudge (see it made), lots of special-recipe cake places and fresh seafood stalls. Great fish & chips, ice-cream fresh made daily. Artisan bread and coffee. Breezes in the Princess Theatre overlooking the sea offer incredible nachos and great quick before-theatre meals. My home is by the beach, harbour and marina with views across rooftops to the sea and town beyond. Loads of attractions including Rock Walk, Eye, Promenade, the Abbey, the Riviera Centre, museums, theatres, cinema, amusement arcades, boating, a variety of different kinds of sea and river boat short, half, and full day trips, fishing, local fishing village of Brixham by half hourly ferry (lunch on fresh-caught newly landed fish - the hake is amazing), golf, tennis, spas, gyms, dancing, a wealth of great restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and stores within a short stroll. Several interesting nearby villages, each offering its own special attraction (for example the amazing Dartington Gardens, Totnes food and craft markets and gourmet Seven Stars restaurant) easily reached at low cost by luxury coach shuttle. Lots of day trips. Great transport links including a Working Steam Railway (nearest steam rail station 4 miles, transport link to it at the harbour) and the Babbacombe Cliff Railway is 1 mile away with a transport link at the harbour. Exeter (which boasts a beach in the city centre) is 50 minutes away by luxury coach.
