The bungalow is situated in Long Ashes Park http://www.longashespark.co.uk near Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales and about 40km from Harrogate. It has two bedrooms plus the usual additional rooms and surrounding gardens with views towards the fells. The park has good facilities - a gym, swimming pool , cafe & pub & there is an excellent food store nearby (1km). Grassington (3km) also has a range of local shops and cafes and is a popular base for visitors to the dales
We are Gill and Tim and are not so recently retired teachers - one of us is late-sixties & the other mid-seventies. We've already enjoyed quite a few home-exchanges, both in the UK and abroad. We have sons and daughters living abroad.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park http://www.yorkshiredales.org.uk is a great place for walking, also cycling (if you don`t mind hills) plus there are plenty of local village pubs to be visited. and the market towns of Skipton and Settle are both nearby. Skipton stands on the Leeds to Liverpool canal so lots of narrowboats pass through in the summer

Our house is built from the local honey-coloured limestone, and is 200 or so years old. We have fully modernised it, hopefully without it losing its charm....
Fabulous home with uninterrupted views over the sea & Scarborough headland, large lawned garden & ample parking. Sleeps eight to ten.
