Our home

Our home is in the centre of the small town of Pangbourne. It is a three bedroomed Victorian (1890) terraced cottage. Whilst it has all modern comforts and is well maintained, it retains its old English character including an open fire place. It has two double bedrooms and one single, a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, sitting room, kitchen and dining/sun room. Outside it has a sitting area beneath a trellis of wisteria and roses and then a long garden with pond. The garden backs on to a lane which takes you either to the shops (3 minutes walk), the railway station and the River Thames (each 10 minutes walk) or to fields and the River Pang (three minutes walk).

Who we are

  1. I am a legal counsel in my early 50's. I have two daughters who have now gone to university and a teenage son who visits me on weekends. My girlfriend is a doctor. I am very well travelled but have never tried a home swap. My house is not large but very comfortable, well presented and homely. Whilst I don't worship my possessions I look after them and would do the same whereever we visited.
