Our home

Our home was converted in the early 1990s to provide comfortable accommodation over two floors for adults and children. It is centrally heated, with a wood burner in the lounge. There is a kitchen-diner, with an island and a table - so a choice of eating options. We can park 6 cars comfortably. Two bedrooms are en suite, with a separate bath/shower room - all upstairs. There is a toilet downstairs, alongside the laundry room. On the ground floor are an office and a TV room.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are a couple with three children, two of whom have graduated, with one still at school in Salisbury. We have a Great Dane called Inca.

  2. Rosheen is an ante-natal teacher; Peter is a civil servant who commutes to Whitehall in London.

  3. We enjoy life in the country and the benefits of being close to cities; Salisbury is 20 minutes away, Winchester 40 minutes, Bath an hour, Oxford 75 minutes, central London within 2 hours. We can reach the south coast in an hour - and walk to Stonehenge in 30 minutes (views within 10!). We are 5 minutes from the River Avon and its beautiful swans. We enjoy cooking, reading, walking and film and theatre. We watch BBC, Netflix and Amazon Prime.
