Our home

A newly built 4 bedroom 215 sqm Scandia-Hus chalet bungalow.
Tucked away in a corner of a small Crescent with off road parking.
Quiet setting with fields and woods behind on two sides.

Ground Floor consists off:-
Entrance hallway with vaulted ceiling.
Study.
Downstairs WC.
Large Open plan Kitchen, Dining and Living room with WiFi and telephone. Bi-fold doors off the Living Space lead directly out to the decking and garden. There is also a large log burner in the main living space that we use in the Winter months.
Separate Utility room off the Kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and a back door.
Separate large Drawing room with Satellite TV and lots of books.

First Floor consists off:-
Bedroom 1 bed 2 people with Juliet balcony, en-suite large walk in shower, wc and sink basin.
Bedroom 2 beds 2 people.
Bedroom 1 high cabin bed 1 person.
Bedroom 1 bed 1 person.
Family bathroom with shower, bath, wc and sink unit.
Due to it being a chalet bungalow upstairs there are lower ceilings in places.

The garden is mainly laid to lawn with some boarders and recently added fruit trees. We have a polytunnel, an above ground 1.2m deep by 3.6m wide pool during the summer, a kids play area with a trampoline and swings/climbing frame, and a Weber gas bbq.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple with 2 children : one 12 year old girl and a 9 year old girl.

Mike is a Landscape gardener/designer and has run his own business for over 30 years.

Moya has been a full time Mum for the last 12 years, but previously worked for BA Holidays.

Polly our eldest daughter is 12 and Harriet is 9.

We travelled a lot before we had our girls and now feel this will be the best way to start travelling with them.

We spend a lot of time enjoying picnics, cycling, camping and discovering new places. We love wildlife and teaching our children how to respect and enjoy everything around them including our beautiful home.

We have the greatest respect for any property we would exchange with and looking for like minded people.
