Our home

We have restored this Victorian house over the last 5 years into a spacious and warm family home. Many of the beautiful original features have been retained. There are original floorboards throughout with all you need for contemporary living. Downstairs there is a large open plan kitchen and family room perfect for entertaining which leads onto a sunny patio and garden. The sitting room is at the front of the house and enjoys early morning sun. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms each with single beds (2 with pull out truckle beds) and a family bathroom. The light and airy master bedroom is by itself on the third floor with ensuite bathroom.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple in our late thirties with 3 young children. We are both marketing professionals. We love travel, cooking, the outdoors, running, cycling, swimming, playing tennis and enjoying time as a family. We haven't done a home exchange before but see it as a great way of sharing cultural experiences.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located in Teddington a leafy suburb of South West London situated on the River Thames and with Bushy Park, one of the Royal Parks, on its doorstep. Wonderful for cycling or walking along the many riverside towpaths or through the beautiful extensive parkland populated with deer. It is very close to Hampton Court and has its own high street with cafes and restaurants. It is an easy 35 minute train ride into central London that run every 15 minutes and it is also within easy access to major motorway links and London airports.
