Our home

OUR APARTMENT: We have a one bedroomed apartment in Central London, England. It is a lovely spacious apartment with a double bedroom, a large open plan lounge/dining room (5m x 7m), a bathroom and a good sized kitchen. The kitchen is furnished with a cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer.

OUR APARTMENT BLOCK: Our apartment is on the top floor of a small block of 4 apartments. The block is set back from the main road in a private residential area. There are 2 short flights of stairs (no lift) to reach the apartment.

LOCATION: The location is excellent as it is just 5 miles from Oxford Circus. Oxford Circus is easily accessible by tube. Our apartment is 10 mins walk from Archway tube station. Upper Holloway, the local railway station, is a 5 mins walk away. Our apartment also has very good bus links.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple who love to travel.

  2. Natasha is a Lawyer and Steve is an Estate Manager.

  3. Natasha likes yoga, theatre and live music. Steve often jokes that Natasha has tidiness OCD. Steve loves cricket. We both love travel, meeting new people and socialising.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

All the main tourist attractions are easily reached by tube or by bus. The public transport links are good.

Nightlife
We are close to Camden and Islington by public transport. Both places are very good for nightlife with lots of restaurants and bars. The Jazz Cafe in Camden is our favourite hangout spot because it has live music every night of the week.
Favourite cafés
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants on the doorstep within easy reach by foot.
Where to go shopping
The largest local supermarket is less than a 10 minute walk away and there are many places from which you can buy groceries.
Local walks
There is an old canal in Camden and in Kings Cross. Both places are close to our apartment by public transport. There are some lovely walks along these canals.
Places you love to exercise
There are about 3 gyms in our area that is part of one company. That means that you can sign up with one company and use the facilities in all three gyms!
