Our home

Our house is a 19th century converted barn on a hillside with stunning views. There are 7 houses here on the farm, all surrounded by fields and woods but within 5 or 10 minutes you can be at the shops. A car is essential. Downstairs the house is mostly open plan with huge barn windows, lots of light, log burning stove. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom with en-suite shower and WC. All very cosy, homely and comfortable.

Who we are

  1. We are Charlie and Joanna O'Malley - in our mid 40s. We have 2 daughters Anousha 13 and Lydia 8. We love to live surrounded by nature and feel that this spot is pure magic! Charlie works in the area of ethical and sustainable business, looking at social and environmental issues. Joanna is mostly occupied by motherhood but also works part time caring for the elderly. We are planning a 3 month tour of the USA and hope to be able to entrust our well loved home to you, in exchange for caring respectfully for yours!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This is the perfect balance of quiet rural living (sheep bleating, deer, badgers, foxes, birds of prey, owls) with very quick and easy access to shops, rail station etc. Immediate surroundings are of gorgeous fields and woods with endless walks. All around are National Trust commons with country pubs, beautiful views, picnic spots. Within an hour you can reach beautiful Regency cities of Bath & Cheltenham, Bristol and countless beautiful English Cotswold market towns and villages.
