Our home

Our home is a large, Victorian, sandstone terraced villa on a very quiet residential street with ample free parking in the Riverside area of Stirling. Just 10 minutes walk from Stirling City Centre/Rail Station.
Accommodation consists of a bay windowed lounge; a large, recently fitted kitchen/diner; master bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and a large family bathroom with free standing claw-footed bath and separate corner shower.
There is space for up to 6 adults/children.
We have big, child safe back garden with kamado barbecue and garden furniture.
We also have lots of toys and activities to keep wee ones busy or toys can be stored away if you are not bringing children.
We have many attractions (Safari Park, River Cycle and Walking routes, Castle, Wallace Monument, Bowling, Cinema, Ice Skating/Curling, Swimming Pool, Shopping, Rail Station with regular trains to Edinburgh/Glasgow/Highlands) within walking distance or no more than a 10 minute drive from our home.

We are able to exchange during the EDINBURGH FESTIVAL, Edinburgh is less than an hour by train.

Who we are

  1. We are a married couple with a son born 2009 and daughter born 2011, we have enjoyed over 10 exchanges in the past to England, Belgium, Netherlands, France and Australia. We love to travel and experience new places.

  2. We are both highschool teachers and Bruce also works at the University of Stirling.

  3. We love cooking, eating, craft beer and sports.
We don't have any pets, but have enjoyed looking after chickens and cats in the past.
Our ideal exchange for Summer 2020 would be near water, have a pool or be in the centre of a city.
