Our home is a large, Victorian, sandstone terraced villa on a very quiet residential street with free parking within the picturesque Riverside area of central Stirling - just a 10 minute wander to Stirling City Centre. There are views to Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills from paths along the River Forth at the end of our street.
Accommodation consists of a bay windowed lounge; large, recently fitted kitchen/diner; 2 double and 1 twin bedroom and a large family bathroom with free standing claw-footed bath and separate corner shower.
There is space for up to 7 adults/children and an additional junior bed and cot if required.
We are keenly interested in food and cooking. Our kitchen is very well stocked with ingredients, recipe books and gadgetry! We would prefer to swap with people with a similar mindset as we like the opportunity to visit local food markets and cook at home during exchanges.
We have big, child safe back garden with trampoline, mini football goals, playhouse and slide; barbecue and garden furniture. Our neighbours are very friendly and will welcome our guests warmly.
We also have lots of toys and activities including a Wii console to keep kids busy or toys can be stored away if you are not bringing children. We also have satellite TV (Sky) in 2 rooms, DVD player, access to Netflix and WiFi throughout the house.
We are a family of four - Sarah, Bruce, Finn aged 6 and Martha aged 3. We started home exchanging in 2014 and have completed six successful exchanges so far, including as far away as Sydney, Australia.
We have many attractions, most within walking distance or no more than a few minutes drive from our home.
