Our home

Our home is a beautiful traditional semi-detached family home in the village of Spark Bridge. The large rooms, open plan kitchen and living space make it a very sociable space. Ideal for children with gardens front and back though you do need to be careful with the road. We have a woodburner in the living room and aga in the kitchen for cooking on so it's a very warm and cosy space. The river Crake runs through the village which is a nice place to relax and swim in the summer. Nearby is Coniston water for swimming, kayaking, canoeing etc plus many beautiful walks around the Rusland Valley.

  1. Hi, we are a family of five from the UK. Naomi, Dan and our 3 children, Rowan who is 11 and Luca and Bel who are 5 year old twins.

  2. Dan is a sound artist, musician, technician, performer ad maker and I run an Airbnb here in the lakes, work with willow and other art forms and DJ afro/latin electronic music.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The village of Spark Bridge is nestled around the River Crake which runs out to the Morecambe Bay estuary and is fed by Coniston Water. There is one pub in the village so for food shopping, cafe's, restaurants and bars etc we tend to go to the nearby town of Ulverston. Spark Bridge is in the Rusland Vally which is beautiful all year round for walking and in Summer a good location for swimming, kayaking and canoeing in Coniston Water or the River Crake.
