Our home

This is a 40 metre Barge Boat centrally located on the Thames at the world famour Tower Bridge. The boat is as large as a warehouse apartment and is fitted out like one so everything works exactly as in a normal house. Except you are on the river! This may be a boat but please realise that it's VERY large with (40m x 5m) and fitted out like a cool "boutique" hotel. The kitchen is stainless steel and very attractive. The boat is static so you cannot sail her, but the location is private and fantastic, and yet only a few minutes walk from the Underground (Metro), and the centre of London. There are great views here and you are only 10 minutes from the West End of London and all the fantastic amenities / shops / nightlife / history.

Who we are

  1. I'm Paul, and my friend Isobel (in the blue jacket in the picture by the river), and another friend ... so there will be 2 or maybe 3 travellers, all professional with a good standard of living who are respectful and will treat your place as if it were their own. Our ages are 42, 41, and 35.
We recently did a swap to Paris at New year, and all parties had a fantastic time.
We love cities in particular, Manhattan, Paris, Rome are favourites, but will consider ANYTHING really.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Nearby is Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Also 5 minutes stroll away is the Mayor's Office, a crazy architectural visual feast. There is a GREAT architecture in this area, and great views. Locally there are Markets and fantastic shopping and eating, as well as traditional London pubs! You will be in the centre of London, but the boat is actually very quiet and private so you have the best of both worlds. You probably know all about London, with its cool culture, fabulous clubs and nightlife, and all the top shops and designers. But more nearby are river cruisers, lovely walks, many beautiful parks and open spaces. Also historic towns such as Windsor (with the Queen's castle) and Canterbury (famous for its cathedral) are an hour away by train.
Or alternatively Waterloo Rail Station is 10 minutes away where you can get a train (only 3 hours) to PARIS!!!!
