Our home

Our beautiful original Victorian home is a classic English town house with fires, wooden floors and period features. Situated on a very friendly road alongside other classic Victorian properties, our home retains the details of its period yet has been decorated in a modern and gorgeous way. Enjoy our literay bookshelves, snuggle up by the fire, shop at the local butchers and bakers, feast on an English roast in our dining room and sleep to the peaceful sounds of silence.

Who we are

  1. With our twin children Millie and Felix we are adventurous souls who enjoy discovering other cultures.

We love 'old Blighty' (England) but need to free our souls for other environments fairly regularly so that we don't go stale!

We have dear family in in Scarborough, South Africa and are very keen to spend some quality time with them. We also have friends in Auckland, New Zealand who we would adore to spend time with and generalyl we are open to offers, although the ideal times for us to be away our during the British Winter months - from January onwards. Or during the month of July and or August.

If you need some sea air and some fun and frolics Brighton is simply a 40minute drive away. Nearby is the beautiful Ashdown Forest which provides stunning walks and a tea shop to boot! Locally to our home are plenty of shops, a wonderful park, cricket ground, decent pub, the train station, other transport amenities and the local sports centre and library.
