Our home

Our home is comfortable and homely with central heating and a coal effect gas fire. It is of a good size with a downstairs hall, lounge, dining room, kitchen and toilet. Large sliding doors lead out onto the patio and large garden. There is a separate sitting area in the garden itself ideal during the warm weather. Upstairs there is one king size, one double bed and a single bed, also a fully tiled bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The small bedroom doubles as a study with a computer which has broadband internet access.

Who we are

  1. Our family have left home and Al and I like to travel as much as possible. Having not long returned from a 3 month holiday in Australia we are developing itchy feet already. We have never tried house swapping and look forward to this new venture.
We would also like to take short breaks within the UK if anybody is interested.
We do have another house swap available in Spain near Torrox Costa in southern Spain.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is situated in Shropshire, a lovely inland county, with easy access to many places of interest throughout the country.
There is wonderful hill country for the hiker within a half hour drive and a short drive into North Wales gives plenty of scope for walking and climbing.
Shrewbury is an ancient mediaeval town with a castle and many places of historical interest to see in the town. Also, within easy commuting distance, are Ludlow and Chester both known for their links with the past.
