Our home

Spacious detached family home with large private (not overlooked) garden in quiet cul-de-sac, one minute walk from a long shingle/sandy beach perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Our house is quite modern, has been completely renovated internally and has a separate garden cabin which sleeps 2 and has an en-suite bathroom. Four good size bedrooms in the main house, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, large open-plan kitchen / dining / living area. Plenty of off street parking. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, surf boards, stand-up paddleboards.

Also has a jacuzzi/hot-tub in the garden and a nice big area for barbecues.

Pets: two cats - both very easy to care for and very affectionate.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Shoreham beach area is separated from the mainland by the River Adur and feels quieter as a result. Our beach is a designated nature reserve due to the wonderful plant-life growing along it. The beach stretches along from Shoreham to Worthing and beyond for many miles and is always quiet. This is a very friendly community with many local cultural events throughout the year at local venues including The Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham Centre and local pubs providing live music, theatre, films etc. There are good local shops and a monthly market in the lively and very pretty town of Shoreham-by-Sea (walking distance across the river via a footbridge).

About an hour on the train via the local station to the capital city of London with all its amazing sights, entertainment, historical architecture and vibrant culture.

Nearby Brighton is famous for its various tourist attractions including the pier and the new i360 tower with rides to the top for stunning views, an iconic waterfront with regency-era buildings, as well as amazing nightlife, restaurants, cafes, shopping, parks and famous fish 'n' chips! Brighton is also known for its vibrant music and arts scene, and as an incredible place to go shopping. It's just 20 minutes away by car, bus or train.

Arundel with its medieval castle and cathedral and Chichester with its historical town centre and cathedral are also nearby. All are easily reached by bus, train (walking distance to station) or road. The South Downs are also close by and have recently been designated National Park status and offer hundreds of paths for cycling and walking with fantastic views of the surrounding coastline as far as the Isle of Wight.
